On June 27, 2005, Ubisoft opened its doors in Quebec City. We started from scratch, with a handful of passionate creators; a real leap of faith! A lot have happened since that first day. 15 years and 31 (soon 33!) games later, we can only be proud of all that we have accomplished.<\/p>\n
Several steps have led us to what we are today. There were the first games on DS, PSP, PS2, Xbox and Wii: Rainbow Six Critical Hour<\/em>, Surf\u2019s up<\/em>, Open Season<\/em>, Battle of Giants<\/em>, TMNT<\/em>, and of course, Prince of Persia<\/em>, which was decisive for the studio! Then, in 2010, the first collaboration with Ubisoft Montr\u00e9al on the Assassin\u2019s Creed<\/em> franchise, which led to the first lead mandates on DLC, with The Tyranny of King Washington<\/em> and Freedom Cry<\/em>. Then, the first leadership mandate on an AAA game, with Assassin\u2019s Creed Syndicate<\/em>. A pivotal moment for us!<\/p>\n At each of these steps, Ubisoft Qu\u00e9bec had the ambition to stand out and do things differently, for the better. What has always followed us through these steps is our determination, our passion, our pride, our humor and our resilience. Above all, our desire to constantly push the envelope and innovate.<\/p>\n All these qualities and all these experiences have led to what Ubisoft Qu\u00e9bec is today: a studio that has carved out a place for itself in our industry and which is recognized for the quality of its games. A team that marked a step in the evolution of the Assassin\u2019s Creed<\/em> franchise with Odyssey<\/em>. A team, which, for its 15th anniversary, is developing an all-new IP, 100% created here in Quebec City: Gods & Monsters<\/em>. That\u2019s what Ubisoft Qu\u00e9bec is all about!<\/p>\n For our 15th anniversary, we wanted to take a look behind us. Look at the progress made, remember the challenges and be proud of the results. But most of all, we wanted to look to the future. Reflect on what we want to accomplish, together. Share a unifying and ambitious vision for the studio.
