Director of Entertainment and Special Events

The Ubisoft Quebec team was looking for an all-rounder to complete its executive team, as Director of Entertainment and Special Events. Congratulations to Champion on his new role and especially thank you to the Quebec City Remparts for agreeing to share this exceptional talent with us. We have put together a short Q&A to answer some of your questions about this new appointment! Welcome aboard Champion.

WHO IS CHAMPION?

UBISOFT QUÉBEC: A star player of the Quebec City Remparts for over 13 years, Champion has become a master in the art of creating original game plans and a festive atmosphere. He also plays an essential role by communicating between the crowd and the players’ bench. These essential qualities will be invaluable in his new role on our executive team.

WHY CHAMPION?

UQ : At Ubisoft Quebec, we are always looking for high-performing team players. When we created the position of Director of Entertainment and Special Events, we were delighted to learn that he was interested in joining our ranks. We validated with the Quebec City Remparts that they were open to sharing Champion’s talents. Whether it’s his energy or his contagious smile, we have no doubt that he will be a hit with the team.

WHAT WILL BE THE ROLE OF THE NEW DIRECTOR OF ENTERTAINMENT AND SPECIAL EVENTS?

UQ : Eventually, the current COVID-19 pandemic will be a bad dream. We’ll be able to get back to our daily routine. At Ubisoft Quebec, that means getting back to organizing colorful events for our 530 passionate creators. To offer them the best, we needed to recruit THE best when it comes to excitement, entertainment, and action. Following our rigorous selection process, there was no doubt in the mind of our new general manager, Nathalie Bouchard, that Champion was the man for the job!
