Ubisoft Education To Offer 300 Subscriptions To Magazines Curium, Les Débrouillards, And Les Explorateurs To Disadvantaged Schools In Québec

Ubisoft Education and Publications BLD are proud to announce a collaboration that will put three children’s science magazines (Les ExplorateursLes Débrouillards, and Curium) in the hands of thousands of disadvantaged school students through 275 elementary and 25 secondary school libraries across Québec.

This partnership was created to broaden access to science-related knowledge and educate our youth.

BLD is a recognized authority in Québec for science content for young readers, and thanks to Ubisoft Education’s contribution, hundreds of French-speaking primary and secondary schools will have access to this content free of charge. The schools were selected based on their level of need.

“We’re delighted to be working with BLD to bring quality science content to children in Québec. We firmly believe that every child deserves to benefit from educational opportunities, whatever their circumstances. Together, we hope to inspire the next generation of scientists and creative thinkers,” said Leslie Quinton, vice-president of Communications and Corporate Responsibility at Ubisoft.

As part of the collaboration, participating teachers will also have the chance to win one of five school tours of Ubisoft Montréal. During this visit, students will learn how video games are made from conception to launch.
