The Fan of the Month is a new initiative to bring to light important people dear to us at Ubisoft Québec. Whether it’s a significant player, an ambassador for our brands, a talented cosplayer or an artist who’s wowing us with his/her #FanArt, we want to introduce these amazing fans through a fun Q&A.
Obviously, we had to start the serie with Claudio Canfora. If you’re interested in Assassin’s Creed, chances are pretty big that you’ve heard about Claudio on Twitter, Instagram or other social media platforms. This incredible player is passionate about the Creed. This warm person is an amazing ambassador for our games and our studio. Back in 2018, when we launched Assassin’s Creed Odyssey, he was here in Quebec City, to celebrate with us.
Open minded, passionate and respectful.
I think that these three words define me well. My beloved parents are two lovers of life and have raised me encouraging me to be curious and to never hesitate to ask a question!
Without a second of a doubt, Assassin’s Creed Odyssey !!! This game is the Game of my life. ❤️
Dream and fun! I play to disconnect from my real life, so a game has to make me dream.
Wow, that’s a very hard question. I have in mind so many names, so choosing three is very difficult, let’s say five okay! Anouk Bachma, for her strength and passion, Ellie Rhodes for her dedication and courage, Raphaël Lacoste for his talent and wonders, Lisa Zaman, for her amazing drawing skills and her kindness and of course, UbisoftQuebec for making me dream. ❤️
It was the first Assassin’s Creed in 2008. I’ve never been a hardcore gamer. I fact I didn’t play any video games for 8 years. And when I bought my first PC in 2002, I started playing RPG like Neverwinter Nights, Warcraft 3, and Sports games like Fifa and NBA 2K. And then, Assassin’s Creed Franchise came into my life, for my greatest pleasure!!
I would love to be Layla Hassan and have the possibility to relive the lives of any ancestor of the Assassins Brotherhood or The Templar Order !! Being her would be so badass !!
Easy choice for me, three Assassin’s Creed games : Odyssey, Origins and Syndicate. Three Open World games where I can fly away from my real life condition. Stuck on a deserted island is hard you know ? I will also add a fourth one, well, everything is permitted, with Jedi Fallen Order, I really love this game!
Oh wow !! Tough question !! I deeply love Ancient Greece for its culture and wonders, but life was extremely rude at this time period. I think I will jump between Italian Renaissance and Victorian Era.
I would have answered this question completely differently 3 years ago! It was a blissful feeling to be part of a family united around a same passion and sharing the love for a brand who makes us dream. I was in the dark and wasn’t active on socials as I’m today, so I didn’t interact much with other fans before.
But to be honest, I don’t feel that I’m part of the Assassin’s Creed Community anymore. At least, not the vocal one. I don’t recognize myself in a community that have difficulties accepting different points of view. It saddens me a lot, trust me, but I tend to believe that every fandom is like this nowadays. So, I enjoy and share my passion differently now, with other souls who accept who I am, without constantly being judged, mocked or harassed. I’ve chosen to be more in the dark, but I’m blessed and grateful to live the best life ❤️
The most important question I have in mind is this one : Are you happy and passionate of your job? Because for me, that’s crucial. Happiness and passion create wonderful games!
